Field Trip is part of ESL class, which is on the extension of ESL education. This Summer, Columbia College ESL students and faculty will go on a field trip to D.C. to enjoy Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2015. The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is held outdoors on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., during the last week of June and first week of July. In 2015, the Festival will take place between Third and Fourth streets, just north of the National Museum of the American Indian. Each year, they have different featured countries and it is Peru this year. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with special events taking place most evenings beginning at 7 p.m. Students from all the campuses, Fairfax, Centreville, Silver Spring(MD) will visit the festival between June 24th and July 2nd.
