About Presidents’ Day
The Presidents Day, officially known as Washington’s Birthday, is a Federal holiday in the United States and is celebrated on the third Monday of February. It is intended to honor all the American presidents, but most significantly George Washington who was born on February 22, 1732 and Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809. In 2014, President’s Day falls on February 17th.
