Miss Eunice Shin obtained her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from no other than Columbia College! She has been an instructor with us since January 2023. Prior to this, she worked at a dental lab in Annandale, Virginia, for 2 years. Armed with a wealth of knowledge and a sharp mind, she monitors our dental lab students as they complete their projects. In addition to that, she may demonstrate techniques for the students, herself.

Mr. Rommel Locsin also obtained an associate degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from Columbia College. He has been our instructor for the past 2 years. Immediately after graduating, he went on to educate and inform our students of the joys of working in the dental laboratory. Moreover, he currently oversees our students’ progress in the online theory courses and is ever supportive and diligent. He ensures that they obtain a proper education before helping craft smiles.

Currently, he oversees our students’ progress in the online theory courses and is always supportive and diligent, ensuring that they obtain a proper education before helping craft smiles. 


The program starts with “Dental Morphology” to ensure that students develop a better sense of the shape and placement of teeth, providing a solid foundation before they learn to create the dental prosthetics, themselves. The curriculum then proceeds into the foray of designing and constructing the prosthetics, from crowns and bridges to different kinds of dentures. With theory classes and laboratory practicums, the program creates a holistic educational experience in the realm of dental technology and the crafting of dental prosthetics, preparing our students for future work as valuable, integral members in the oral health care industry.

While participating in the certificate program allows you to cover the most fundamental, comprehensive knowledge in the field, pursuing an associate degree in Dental Laboratory Technology provides the opportunity to take more major courses, further building up your knowledge and technical skill set, preparing you for the professional environment, and positioning you as an ideal employment candidate in the industry.
