My First Field Trip

The Field trip to the Folklife Festival held in Washington D.C. was one of the most interesting experiences I have had since I came to the States. First of all, I had a chance to watch fantastic performances of China and Kenya. I watched a traditional dragon dance of China, which was very active and magnificent. Also, I heard several Kenyan songs, which sounded exotic and interesting because that was the first time I listened to Kenyan music.
Second of all, I had a good time with my classmates. My classmates and I took a lot of pictures of performances of China and Kenya and structures built for the festival. We also visited the National Museum of Natural History afterwards and ate some chicken noodles for lunch in China town. In conclusion, I had lots of fun on the field trip.
