During the recess, we had an award ceremony for the winners of Folklife Festival Field Trip Essay Contest. The winners deserved to boast of their writing skills that they have sharpened at Columbia College. All other students, teachers, and staff members got together in front of the reception desk to congratulate those who were awarded, giving them a big round of applause.
