Columbia College will join cultural tourism DC for the 4th Annual Embassy Chef Challenge: DC's premier international culinary competition. More than a dozen chefs from Washington, DC embassies, representing countries from around the world, compete in this friendly culinary competition. A panel of celebrity chefs and food critics serve as judges throughout the competition and select the Judge's Choice Award. Event attendees sample food, meet the chefs, and choose the People's Choice winner. Chinese New Year’s Festival was held at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church on February 4th, 2012. Columbia College performed Massage Therapy.

All the students and staff at Columbia College had such a wonderful time last Tuesday at our Thanksgiving Potluck. Valerie, one of the best ESL instructors, told us a story about pilgrims and the origin of Thanksgiving, and then Cynthia, one of our intelligent staff, told us about the meaning of Thanksgiving food. After that, we started to enjoy our variety of food. We had turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, green bean casserole, fresh breads and rolls, salads, and other yummy dishes.
