On March 8th, representatives from Columbia College's admission office visited Mountain View Alternative High School to present informational programs to prospective students, parents and counselors. Also, we provided free nail treatment and hair services for students and collected student list who is interested in our Cosmetology program!
Columbia College Tysons main campus hosted The Big Open House on November 8 - 11, 2016. We provided information and seminars regarding Columbia College and our programs, ESL/Online ESL, TOEFL/TESOL, Dental Laboratory Technology, Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Nurse Aide, Computer Science, Business Administration, Teaching English for Early Childhood, and Technical & Business English. Many prospective students visited The Big Open House to receive admission and academic information and career pathways, to grab their future at Columbia College. We look forward to having you as our students soon!
On Monday October 31st, students and staff had a chance to enjoy our yearly tradition Halloween party organized by Columbia College. ESL students wore costumes and makeup and participated in pumpkin carving. They enjoyed themselves embracing the American culture very well.
Happy 17th Anniversary! October 17th, 2016 marked the 17th anniversary since the founding of Columbia College. For the occasion, we have organized a barbeque party on Tuesday, October 18th where all students, faculty and staffs could come together and celebrate. We thank all of our alumni, students, faculty and staffs who helped us becoming who we are today. Columbia College ESL students went on a field trip to the US Capitol from September 27th, 2016 to September 29th, 2016. Students were given a detailed history explanation of the Library of Congress and enjoyed the scheduled tour.

Welcome back students ! Columbia College ESL department hosted Student Welcome Day event on June 2nd, 2016. Many returning students and newly joining students enjoyed cookies, chips and other treats. Fairfax Campus - Morning class The Best Student Award was presented to Layla Alghamdi for her excellent academic achievement. She got Starbucks card as a prize.
