Join our fun field trip to National Book Festival on Saturday, September 21, 2013 on the National Mall in Washington D.C., rain or shine. ALL ESL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME! We will meet at the Columbia College Fairfax Campus on Saturday, September 21st, at 9:30AM and depart for the Festival at 10AM.
The 13th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will feature authors, poets and illustrators in several pavilions focused on everything from children’s books to biographies, novels, history, science fiction and more. We can meet and hear firsthand from our favorite poets and authors, get books signed, hear special entertainment, have photos taken with storybook characters and participate in a variety of activities!
