COLUMBIA COLLEGE SHOWCASES STUDENT’S WORK IN HAIR AND FASHION SHOW

October 23, 2014, Merrifield, VA – Students of the Cosmetology School of Columbia College will present their latest creations at the ‘Crystal Reflections’ hair and fashion show. Coinciding with Columbia College’s 15th anniversary, the show is the most exciting and sought out program of the school’s annual celebration. This year’s theme, ‘Crystal Reflections’, strives to showcase the student’s creativity and technical skills as a result of their accumulated educational coursework. The show will feature up to 24 models completely styled from head to toe by 11 future cosmetologists. The event promises to be a mesmerizing night featuring the artistic creations of students currently enrolled in the school’s intensive cosmetology program—the only institution in the area offering an associate’s degree in Cosmetology.

“We are encouraging our students to put all of their artistic innovation into their creations in line with their own interpretation of the show’s theme,” states the cosmetology school and show director, Jennie Kim. “We’ve given them all the tools and we are extremely excited to see what they come up with.”

Doors open at 6:30PM on the 23rd of October in the main auditorium of Columbia College (8300 Merrifield Avenue, Fairfax VA 22031) with a party and reception following shortly after the show which starts at 7PM. There is no entrance fee and drinks as well as light snacks will be served.

‘Crystal Reflections’ is sponsored by Wella Professionals, Total Copier Service, Shilla Bakery & Café, Top Travel and Seitz Liquor.
