Game Night

CCDC is hosting Game Night on Thursday, March 21st at 5:30PM in the student lounge. We would like to welcome you to attend the event. There will be snacks and a variety of games to choose from.
Come meet students from different cultures who are studying here at Columbia College! Sit around a table, enjoy snacks, and challenge each other with stimulating games!

Introduction

The main goal of the ESL (English as a Second Language) students in Columbia College is achieving communicative competence. The communicative goals are best achieved by giving due attention to language use and not just usage, to fluency, and to authentic language and contexts, and to students’ eventual need to apply classroom learning to previously unrehearsed contexts in the real world.

Purpose

The purpose of the game night is to give ESL students a great opportunity to interact with domestic students and learn about other cultures and vice versa.
