2. Bethesda Chevy Chase Restaurant Week
- Lunch for $12 or $16 and three-course dinner menus for $33

3. Free Outdoor Movies at the National Mall
- Films are shown on Monday nights beginning at dusk, around 8:30-9:00 p.m.

4. Virginia Sales Tax Holiday August 2-4, 2013: During the Virginia Sales Tax Holiday shoppers will save 5 percent on purchases of school supplies costing $20 or less per item, or clothing and footwear priced at $100 or less.
