All the students and staff at Columbia College had such a wonderful time last Tuesday at our Thanksgiving Potluck. Valerie, one of the best ESL instructors, told us a story about pilgrims and the origin of Thanksgiving, and then Cynthia, one of our intelligent staff, told us about the meaning of Thanksgiving food. After that, we started to enjoy our variety of food. We had turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, green bean casserole, fresh breads and rolls, salads, and other yummy dishes. Some student also brought their traditional food and side dishes. There were plenty of desserts: cranberry salad, fruit, fig bread, cheese cake, donuts, pumpkin pie, and other delectable sweets. It was a feast!
